The New Penta Sport remote mouse Make no mistake, the
Penta Sport was designed for
PowerPoint*. Our engineers set out to create a no nonsense, high
performance, simple to use, long range, remote mouse for
presentation applications like PowerPoint, Keynote, or any other
type of presentation software. They did such a good job on the "mini
joystick" that the Penta Sport is suitable for more than just
PowerPoint. Heck, it makes a great general purpose remote mouse
whether you need the long range or not.
The Penta Sport reloaded. Yes, the video for the
Penta Sport was remixed and reloaded onto the YouTube video servers.
The new versions features cool techno music and new photos/graphics.

Yes, I have heard stories about
laptops melting, but that's due to extreme cases where
the laptop user places the laptop in extreme operating
conditions. For example using a laptop sitting on a
carpet floor in a hot room. Or not using protection when
you take the laptop to bed with you and allowing the
laptop rest on the blanket or comforter without a
laptop cooling pad. I've even heard of laptops
that caught on fire or even exploded. Those may have
been caused by a combination of heat and defective
batteries. Your best bet is to try to keep your laptop
away from extreme operating conditions and to place some
type of
laptop cooler underneath it. The original QuadCooler is what got
us into the
laptop cooler business in the first place.
It is the familiar rectangular platform with 4 evenly
spaced fans for a balanced cooling solution. Another
nice thing about the QuadCooler is that it's powered by
the Laptop. That's right! All you have to do is plug it
into any available USB port on the laptop computer. The
QuadCooler is still our number one selling laptop cooler
and for good reason. It's the best combination of
features verses price tag.

Big Full
Sized Keys GOT NUMBERS TO CRUNCH? The DigitPad 1000 is a
17 key
number pad that is designed to crunch numbers like
they were going out of style. It features BIG FULL SIZED keys that
make number crunching easy even for football players with big hands.
The DigitPad 1000 is basically the same keypad found in a standard
full-sized computer keyboard. It's like we got a hacksaw and cut it
off and made it into a stand alone keypad. Other nice features
include a PS2 adapter that allows you to plug it into older
computers that don't support USB.
We live in an age where anyone can build a presentation
to teach or to persuade other people. It's a powerful
new medium where you can deliver new ideas to a small
group of people in a company meeting or hundreds of
people in an auditorium. There are a few things you need
besides just the PowerPoint software to make your
presentation effective and to come across in a
professional manner. First, you need a laptop computer
to run the software and to store your presentation.
Next, you will need an LCD projector to display your
ideas on the big screen. Third, you will need a
Presentation Mouse so
you don't have to walk back and forth, and back and
forth, and back and forth, to the laptop computer. And
last but not least, you will need to create the content
that goes into the PowerPoint software.

What's In a Name?
Do you remember when
William Shakespeare so
eloquently asked, "What's in a name? That which we call
a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Well,
the same goes for PENPER.COM. Just think about that for
a moment. Would our web site be the same without those
six little characters? They are the perfect size for
displaying on a billboard, business card, or even on the
web site itself. So to answer Shakespeare's
question, yes, I do think the name is rather important,
but not quite as important as the quality of the content
or product behind the name.
What is a
Trackball Roller?
You're look at the inside of a
Rolee Polee handheld
trackball. Every type of analog trackball has to have
some type "Trackball Roller" to transfer the physical
motion of the trackball into a digital code that the
computer can understand. The Rolee Polee is a unique
device that allows the operator to control the computer
without the need for a mouse pad or a desk top for that
matter. If your trackball ever becomes sluggish, the
first thing to check is the trackball roller to make
sure they do not have an excess build up of lint. If so,
take a cotton swap dipped in alcohol and wipe the little
trackball roller clean. ::
NO MOUSE PAD REQUIRED
TriCooler
- Friend to
Digital Camera The "Tri-Cooler" is very similar to the original
QuadCooler except for 3 obvious reasons. 1. It has only 3 fans. 2.
It comes with a memory card reader that reads most available memory
cards. 3. It is not powered by the laptop computer and requires it
to be plugged into the wall. If you've got a digital camera or use
any type of digital media like MP3 players, then you
should take a look at the new Tri-Cooler laptop cooler. ::

Why do I need a
Laptop Cooler?
Well, if your laptop never overheats, then you don't
need a
laptop cooler,
but lets get realistic here folks. With today's high
powered laptops, they are generating more heat than ever
before. It is true that laptops come with at least 1 fan
that sits on top of the CPU, but that fan usually
doesn't cover all the excessive heat coming from the
CPU, much less the rest of the laptop. Keep in mind that
although, the CPU is the hottest spot on the laptop,
there are other hot spots that add to that heat. The
battery generates heat and so do the other electronic
components like the video card. That's why it's nice to
have a laptop cooler like the QuadCooler that provides
balanced cooling to all the hot spots or the Big Brian
laptop cooler that blasts more air with bigger fans.
These are just a few things to think about when shopping
for a laptop cooler.
A Unique Web Site ? There is something special about us
(PENPER.COM) and there is something special about you.
THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MOMENT. How did you get to this
web site and what made you stay here and read through
the articles and what made you want to buy our product?
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE. You have a certain way of thinking
and you have a certain style. A web site is like a piece
of art work. For example, not everyone appreciates a
Picasso and so too, not everyone will appreciate this
web site. At PENPER.COM we don't care about appealing to
the masses. We don't want to be everything to everyone.
We just want to have a strong following of people who
appreciate our style.
Are you a
Number Crunching Nerd? No really, are
you a number crunching nerd? Are you the type that likes
to show off the speed and dexterity at which you control
the
10 key whether it be a
business calculator or the
number pad on a computer?
Yeah, you know who you are. You use the bump on the
"five" key to touch type so you can keep your eyes glued
to the monitor as you update the cells of your spread
sheet. When the boss walks in you kick your fingers into
extra high gear so that they can be assured they got
their money's worth when they hired you. You're probably
an accountant or an accounting assistant or maybe even
the all purpose secretary, but you know the thing that
impresses them even more than a complicated spread sheet
is your lightning fast fingers. Now that we know who you
are let's talk about something that really gets you
excited. When was the last time you upgraded your
10 key number pad? Well
now is a good time because there's a web site that's
dedicated to
number pads. It's
called
DigitPads.com and don't
worry about surfing the internet during work hours, the boss will be
delighted to see pictures of number pads on your screen. And the
icing on the cake is that you can probably write off your fancy new
Digit Pad as a company expense ! ! !

UNIQUE COMPUTER
PRODUCTS When we came up with slogan "Unique Computer
Products" because it seemed to be the perfect tag line
to describe what PENPER.COM is all about. However, we
didn't think those words were going to be unique at all.
I imagined there would be at least a dozen computer
companies that chose those very same words. I was
delighted to find that we were truly unique (at least on
the big 3 search engines) when it came to calling
ourselves Unique Computer Products. And if you don't
believe me, do a search for yourself using the following
words "Unique Computer Products". You don't have to put
the quotation marks.
THINK GREEN Our shipping manager came up with a new
system that uses less packing material, makes the boxes
stronger, and better protects the product inside. He
calls it
New Box Technology, but
we call it good for the environment and good for saving
money. Allowing our employees to be creative is one of
the principles of PENPER.COM
Q: I noticed that my
DigitPad 1000 came with a PS2 adapter. Is that for
connecting to a PlayStation 2?
A: That's a good
question, because in the old days PS2 or PS/2 was
synonymous with the little round ports that IBM designed
for mouse and keyboard inputs to their PS/2 computers.
Now most people think of a video game console, but it
just means those two round ports found on my most modern
day PC computers. Even if you've got USB, you can still
hook up your DigitPad 1000 via the PS2 port which will
free up 1 of your USB ports.
Q: What's the number one
technical question that you get on the
Penta Laser Mouse
from your customers?
A: I didn't have to
think about that one. By far the most common technical
question for the Penta Laser Mouse is "How do I get the
Laser Pointer to work". We love this question, because
it's an easy fix. The answer is: you simply have to put
the Laser Mouse into "LASER MODE". To do this, all you
have to do is press the pink LASER BUTTON and the
TRIANGULAR FUNCTION KEY down at the same time for about
5 seconds. After you do that, the Laser Mouse will be in
LASER MODE. Now all you have to do is press the LASER
BUTTON by itself and the laser beam should fire away.
I THOUGHT ROLEE POLEE
WAS A BUG
Yes, a Rolee Polee is a bug, but there's a new Rolee
Polee in town that's made of plastic and lots of
electronic technology. The reason they call it the
"Rolee Polee" is because it's all round and curvy like
those bug type Rolee Polee creatures. The computer mouse
was invented over 40 years ago, but the concept of
dragging a mouse on a desktop is still pretty much the
same. Sure they have all those fancy "laser-guided"
optical mice, but you still have to drag even those
fancy mice on a desktop.
NUMERIC VS. NUMERICAL
I always make the mistake and call it a "numerical"
keypad, but the correct word this type of keyboard is
"numeric" keypad. Now a good example of a
numeric keypad is the
new
DigitPad 1000
numeric keypad which you can find on
DIGITPAD.COM
Learn the Army Alphabet
We find it very helpful to use the
Army Alphabet when
relaying information during a phone order with a
customer. The Army Alphabet is just a list of words (Alpha,
Bravo, Charlie,
Delta, Echo . . .) that corresponds
to the letters in the English Alphabet.
Here's an article that
talks about the pros of teaching more people the Army
Alphabet.
Strong Virus Protection
At PENPER.COM we scan all computers, networks, and email
with Trend Micro antivirus software solutions. We
selected Trend Micro because we believe they are on the
cutting edge of antivirus technology. For example, it's
not unusual to receive 1-2 virus updates per day from
Trend Micro. They also offer free web service that
allows anyone to check the
latest virus threats.
NEWS ALERT (08.15.07)
If you're an accountant or know an accountant, then you
should find the following news very interesting. The
Vantec Mobile Keypad is
now on sale. It normally runs for $29.95, but
now is only $19.95
through the end of August 2007.
WHAT DOES PENPER STAND FOR? The "PENPER" in PENPER.COM is short
for Penta Performance.
